Distorted Humor closes strong at F-T Saratoga Sale

Distorted Humor wrapped up the Aug. 7-8 Fasig-Tipton Saratoga Select Yearlings sale with a total of four lots selling for an average of $292,000, with final prices falling in between $240,000 and $400,000.

Day 2’s top seller for the WinStar stallion was hip No. 143, a colt consigned by Taylor Made Sales Agency that sold to Donegal Racing for $320,000. The colt’s dam Bonnie Blue Flag was a stakes winner and twice Grade 1-placed. She is a half-sister to multiple Grade 1 winner Diamondrella.

Soon after, hip No. 154, a filly, sold for $300,000 to Deuce Greathouse. Consigned by Woodford Thoroughbreds, the bay is the first foal out of the Malibu Moon mare Centrique and from the family of Kentucky Oaks (G1) winner Sun and Snow and Grade 1 winner Honey Ryder.
