$210K Bodemeister colt day 2 at F-T October

A $210,000 colt by Bodemeister was one of the top sellers halfway through the Tuesday session of the Oct. 24-26 Fasig-Tipton Yearling sale in central Kentucky.

Woods Edge Farm, agent, consigned hip No. 574, which went to Cicada Stable. The dark bay is the second foal out of the Congrats mare Stop the Wedding, who is a half-sister to Grade 2-placed Saint Bernadette, who in turn is the dam of multiple Grade 1-placed Social Inclusion.

Bodemeister, a top-10 First Crop Sire of 2016 with top-class runners such as Astoria S. winner Bode’s Dream and Hopeful S. (G1) runner-up Royal Copy, also ranks third this year by yearling sales avearge among all second crop sires.
