Drosselmeyer sires one of top 2YOs at Goffs

Two-year-olds by freshman sire Drosselmeyer continued to show strong international appeal, as one of his first-crop juveniles sold for 100,000 Euros, top five among all colts at the Goffs Breeze Up Sale on May 22nd.

Catalogued as hip No. 90, the American-bred chestnut out of Cateress, by Tabasco Cat, was purchased by Saudi horseman Bhupat Seemar, who told the media afterwards that the colt will likely race in Dubai. A half-brother to stakes-placed Dixie Unioness, the colt’s dam is a half-sister to three stakes winners, including Grade 1 juvenile Stopshoppingmaria.
