Exaggerator tallies a pair of Sunday maiden winners
Monday, October 19, 2020
Yellowstone Girl and Manhattan Grace both broke their maidens on Sunday, upping Exaggerator's First-Crop winners' total to ten, which is third-most for first-year sires.

Yellowstone Girl, owned by Madaket Stables LLC, Wonder Stables and Robert LaPenta, won her one mile contest at Keeneland in front-running style, coming home a two-length winner under Florent Geroux.

Yellowstone Girl was bred in Kentucky by Fred Hertrich III and John Fielding and is from the family of champion 2-year-old filly Halfbridled.

Manhattan Grace was a debut winner going 5 1/2-furlongs at Golden Gate Fields, winning by three-quarters of a length for owner Charles Bartlett. Manhattan Grace was bred by Hickstead Farm. Her dam Miss Barrister is a half-sister to Grade 2 winner Indian Firewater.
