Fed Biz filly gallant in career bow at Fair Grounds

Inthemidstofbiz led from nearly start to finish to claim a one-length victory in a six-furlong maiden special weight affair Dec. 26 at Fair Grounds.

The 2-year-old filly gave Fed Biz a even dozen winners for the top-10 First-Crop sire, who also has six stakes horses to his credit this year.

After breaking a bit tardy, Inthemidstofbiz hustled up the rail to wrestle the lead from Eskendar in the first furlong. Hugging the rail the entire way, the bay filly shook off a serious challenge at the top of the stretch and resolutely maintained her one-length lead the rest of the trip to secure the win [WATCH RACE].

The winner is owned by Let it Ride Equine Holdings VI, LLC and was bred in Kentucky by J. D. Stuart and Mueller Farms. The filly’s dam Midst was a stakes winner and has produced four winners from as many starters, including the multiple stakes-placed filly Katniss the Victor.
