Hold Me Back firster wins with ease

Something Nice strolled to a comfortable three length win Sunday in the career bow for the 2-year-old daughter of Hold Me Back. She is the eighth winner for the freshman sire, who is in the top ten on the First-Crop Sire list.

Going 5 1/2-furlongs in maiden special weight company at Thistledown, Something Nice broke very quickly and was up three lengths in short order. None of her foes got any closer for the remainder of the contest, which she completed in 1:07.02 over a sloppy racetrack (VIDEO).

Something Nice, bred in Ohio by Deborah Kopatz, is a half-sister to the stakes-placed filly Turbulent.
