Tourist filly breaks maiden by incredible 19 lengths

Jane’s Gold Tour forged through the falling snow to a blowout 19-length maiden special weight win on Dec. 1 at Mountaineer Park to become Tourist’s 11th First-Crop winner.

The gray or roan filly was under a hand ride for the entire one-mile trip, pulling away from the field after five furlongs as she relished the inclement conditions and sloppy racetrack (VIDEO).

The winner is owned by Sharon Haag and Alysia Robey and was bred in Kentucky by George Bates, Trustee.

Tourist, a son of recently-pensioned WinStar’s champion sire Tiznow, is standing the 2021 season at the farm for $5,000 S&N.
