Take Charge Indy was rewarded with his latest graded winner Friday evening at Charles Town when Indy Bay won the Charles Town Oaks (G2) by two lengths.
Never worse than third in seven career starts, Indy Bay made her presence felt from the outset of Friday’s seven-furlong race. She tracked Andrea and Vodka With a Twist for five furlongs before making a three-wide move for the lead. Indy Bay came very wide in the stretch with a full head of steam and rolled to the front before pulling away late to win convincingly.
Indy Bay is owned by C2 Racing Stable LLC, Timothy Pinch, and Paul Braverman. Winner of the Jersey Girl S. in June at Saratoga, she is now 4-1-2 and has earned $675,000.
The dark bay filly was bred in Kentucky by Frankfort Park Farm.
Indy Bay is one of six stakes horses in 2025 for Take Charge Indy, who stood the 2025 season for $7,500 S&N.
