Paynter filly rolls by nearly 10 lengths in Churchill Downs maiden special weight score

Bootsy’s Hadenough couldn’t have been more impressive in her 9 3/4-length maiden special weight win Nov. 25 at Churchill Downs, winning the six-furlong contest in 1:10.86 under a hand ride by Corey Lanerie.

The bay filly is the ninth overall winner for Paynter, who has three stakes horses, including black type winner Renaisance Frolic, among his first-crop winners. Paynter’s largest two crops from his first four years will be yearlings and 2-year-olds in 2018.

Making her third lifetime start, Bootsy’s Hadenough was in control from the outside on Saturday. Up a length after the first quarter-mile, she began to pull away from the field without urging and won with complete authority (VIDEO).

The winner is owned by Lynn Cash et al and was bred by Glendalough LLC. Bootsy’s Hadenough is out of Ryan’s Inheritance and is a half-sister to American Pastime, a TDN Rising Star and graded stakes-placed winner of $255,100.
