Super Saver tallied his top-priced yearling of 2017 during Tuesday’s session of the Keeneland September Yearling sale when Godolphin went to $625,000 to procure hip No. 334.
Consigned by Taylor Made Sales Agency, the colt is the first foal out of the Street Sense mare Ida Mae, who is a full sister to Delta Jackpot (G3) winner Ocho Ocho Ocho.
With 10 lots sold to date this year, Super Saver’s yearlings are bringing an average of $199,450.
Super Saver has 62 lots remaining in the 12-day sale, which runs through Sept. 23.
