U S Ranger filly wires field on Delaware turf

Sea Bubble took the field gate to wire in a maiden special weight contest Saturday at Delaware Park, winning by a length over a firm turf.

The filly is part of the first crop of U S Ranger, who is in the top 20 on the First Crop Sire list. Sea Bubble was bred in Kentucky Ben Walden and Preston Madden.

Sea Bubble is out of the unraced mare Lovely Martha and is a half-sister to $1.2 million earner Sand Springs, who won five graded stakes in her illustrious career, topped by the Grade 1 Diana S.
