Constitution colt debuts with a TDN Rising Star victory at Gulfstream Park

Born Noble turned in a stellar first-out performance Dec. 30 at Gulfstream, rolling to a 5 ½-length maiden special weight victory to earn the coveted TDN Rising Star tag.

The bay colt is the ninth lifetime Rising Star for Constitution. The WinStar stallion’s progeny have had an excellent 2023 on the track. Constitution is the second-leading sire of 2-year-olds this year, with 32 individual winners of $2.8 million. He also leads the Fifth-Crop sire list with 13 stakes winners and 26 stakes horses.

Born Noble, who was bred by WinStar, chased Bonus Move for the first half-mile before moving up along side the pacesetter. He took the lead coming into the stretch and quickly accelerated away from the field, drawing off to finish the seven furlongs in 1:24.27 on a “good” main track.

Born Noble is owned by St. Elias Stable and West Point Thoroughbreds, who purchased the Kentucky-bred for $725,000 at last year’s Keeneland September Yearling sale.
