Speightstown is once again a top-10 sire in 2019, with eight stakes winners and progeny earnings topping $7.5 million.
Cambria, in post position 1, was about five length off the pace early on, but maintained her inside position into the stretch, steadily advanced and outran Chimney Rock to win by a head in 1:17.40 for the 6 1/2-furlongs on the firm turf.
With the win, trainer Wesley Ward said he will point the filly to the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf S., Nov. 1 at Santa Anita Park.
"I think she'll have a big, big chance at that race, making one run," Ward said. "If she was able to make one big run from behind and the speed collapses from behind, she'll be right there."
The Stonestreet Stables homebred, who upped her earnings to $331,700, is the second foal out of Grade 2 winner Teen Pauline.
