Tiznow keeps rolling on Day 4 at Keeneland

Day 4 of the 2013 Keeneland September Yearling sale starred yet another Tiznow juvenile, this time a $1.7 million filly by the WinStar stallion that wound up being the highest-priced female of the session, and second-highest overall.

Consigned by Mill Ridge Farm, agent as hip No. 855, the filly went to Solis Bloodstock, and with her pedigree was sure to draw plenty of attention. She is out of Easter Bunnette, dam of Horse of the Year and Champion Older Mare Havre de Grace, who collected six graded wins, including a victory over the boys in the Woodward S. (G1) in her illustrious career.

“She’s a half to Havre de Grace to begin with, she’s an excellent physical. She’s a beautiful filly,” said Alex Solis, who signed the winning ticket. “We saw her from the first day of showing. She’s been here for five days showing and never weakened one bit. She has a great action,” Solis said. “The family of Missy Baba, it goes back to a huge back-family from Toll Booth all the way back to A.P. Indy and all that stuff. You know, you don’t get better than this.”
