Good Samaritan had one of the top ten colts during Tuesday’s opening session of the OBS Spring 2-year-olds sale when hip No. 193 sold for $340,000.

Consigned by Eddie Woods, agent, the dark bay colt had worked a furlong in a swift 10 seconds flat during the Under Tack show.

The winning bidder on the Kentucky-bred was Klaravich Stables. The colt was bred by Kathryn Day and ThorougBred by Design.

The colt is the second foal out of Conquest Bad Uncle, whose dam is Adirondack S. (G2) winner Worstcasescenario.

Good Samaritan, who is represented this year by graded winner Entera Good and graded-placed Good Runner, has five lots remaining in the auction.
