Take Charge Indy will have an excellent representative in the May 2nd Kentucky Oaks (G1) with Take Charge Milady, who drew post 10 in the field of 14 3-year-old fillies.

The dark bay comes into the 1 1/8-mile race off a very game second in the Ashland S. Overall, Take Charge Milady is 2-2-0 in six starts and has earned $416,469 for owners James Ball, Magdalena Racing, and Kenneth Rhodes. She was bred in Kentucky by Merriebelle Stable, LLC.

In the Oaks, Take Charge Milady will be ridden by Brian Hernandez, Jr. for trainer Kenny McPeek, the same combination that won both the Kentucky Derby and Oaks in 2024.

The Oaks is the 11th race on Friday, with a post time of 5:51 pm ET.
