WinStar Farm stallion Audible made a major splash at this week’s Fasig-Tipton Midlantic Sale in Timonium, Maryland with a $600,000 2-year-old filly that was purchased by West Point Thoroughbreds and L.E.B, agent.
Consigned by Randy Miles and bred in Kentucky by Sandra Sexton, the dark bay or brown filly was listed as Hip 525. She is out of the Street Boss mare Street Love, who also produced the stakes-placed Chiringo. Her dam is a full-sister to Grade 1-winner Capo Bastone. Other prominent members of the extended family include Graded stakes winners Hidden Connection, Praying, and Grade 1-placed Alys Beach.
Audible is currently the leading fourth-crop sire in Black-type horses with a total of 14, and is ahead of prominent stallions such as Omaha Beach, Mitole, and Maximum Mischief. Additionally, he is the leading sire of Black-type horses amongst stallions standing for under $40,000.
