Awesome Jill, by Kentucky’s leading freshman sire of winners Pioneerof the Nile, rolled to a 2 3/4-length victory in Sunday’s first race at Churchill Downs, her career debut.
Pioneerof the Nile, who stood the 2013 season at WinStar Farm for $15,000, has eight winners to date.
