Big Wednesday at Keeneland sale for More Than Ready
Wednesday, September 12, 2018
More Than Ready's 2018 Keeneland September Yearling sales results hit a high-water mark on Wednesday with four lots topping the $300,000 mark.

Hip No. 699, consigned by Gainesway, agent, was the day's leader for the WinStar stallion, going to Barry Schwartz for $650,000. Out of the graded stakes-placed Pulpit mare Out to Win, the chestnut filly is a full sister to stakes winner Justa Lady. The family also has produced the likes of Grade 1 winners Behrens and Commentator.

Another More Than Ready filly, hip No. 633 from the Elm Tree Farm consignment, went to Raydelz Stables for $410,000. The dark bay filly is out of the Grade 2 winner All Star Heart.

Wednesday's session wrapped up with six lots by More Than Ready selling for an average of $340,000.  He has an additional five lots scheduled to sell on Thursday, the final session of book 1.
