WinStar Farm is pleased to announce the highly anticipated return of its very popular Fantasy Derby contest. Fantasy Derby 2013 is free for racing fans, easy to play, and offers the very best in possible prizes.
Fantasy Derby 2013, part of WinStar StableMates, allows each fan to name his or her own Fantasy Stable, and then select horses in different categories, all with the goal of establishing the “winning” stable.
Elliott Walden, CEO of WinStar Farm, sees Fantasy Derby 2013 as another step in WinStar Farm’s broad desire to engage with ever more racing fans and Thoroughbred enthusiasts through WinStar StableMates.
“This contest makes it really easy for fans to get interested in the Derby Prep races, and get to know and follow the horses who are on the Derby watch lists,” said Walden. “WinStar is committed to being a leader not only on the track and in breeding, but in all efforts in lifting the profile of Thoroughbred racing, especially connecting with our great fans through WinStar StableMates. The contest is easy and fun to play, and the prizes we are offering should appeal to even the most casual racing fan.”
Winners will be determined by who has the most Fantasy Stable earnings through the contest period. Fantastic prizes will be awarded to the Top 10 finishers. First Prize is 2 box seat tickets to the 2013 Kentucky Derby, second prize is 2 box seat tickets to the 2013 Kentucky Oaks, and the third prize is a Distorted Humor halter. All three of the top prizes also include a ‘behind-the-scenes’ VIP guided tour of WinStar Farm for up to four people, a WinStar gift basket, and a complimentary WinStar Stablemates Grade 2 Membership for all of 2013. Fans must enter and have until noon, Saturday, Feb. 2nd to select their ‘Stable’ to play and be eligible to win the prizes. Entry is quick and easy, and Fantasy Derby 2013 is free to play.
