A yearling More Than Ready colt and full brother to Grade 1 winner Sebring (AUS) topped the Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling sale with a winning bid of A$1.3 million from champion trainer Gai Waterhouse on Thursday at the Australian auction.
The colt is also a full brother to the Grade 1-placed Falkenburg and a half-brother to Grade 2 winner Pureness. Sebring, a multiple Grade 1 winner, was champion 2-year-old colt in Australia. Sebring has gone on to be one of the leading sires in his home country, with a Horse of the Year and almost 50 stakes horses to his credit from his first four crops.
More Than Ready had three Grade 1 winners in Australia in 2016 and has started off the 2017 North American racing season with the Grade 3 winner Made You Look and stakes-placed Lady Alexandra the first week of January.
