$500,000 colt tops Fasig-Tipton Yearlings sale for More Than Ready

More Than Ready’s results during Aug. 6-7 Saratoga Select Yearlings sale were robust as usual for the world-class stallion, with six lots bringing an average of $308,333.

Tuesday’s closing session proved particularly solid, led by a colt that went for $500,000 to Kerri Radcliffe. Consigned by Denali Stud, hip No. 154 is the second foal out of the graded stakes-placed mare Allez Marie, whose dam Summerly won the 2005 Kentucky Oaks (G1).

Later in the session, hip No. 211, consigned by Taylor Made Sales Agency, sold to Mike Ryan, on behalf of E5 Racing, for $325,000. The dark bay filly is the first foal out of the Tiznow mare Echo Warrior, who is from the immediate family of Grade 1 winners Pyro and Olympia.

More Than Ready will be represented by five lots in the Aug. 11-12 Fasig-Tipton Saratoga New York-bred Preferred Yearlings sale this weekend.
