Rebranded took the race to his foes early in Saturday’s $50,000 Curribot H., pulling away by a couple of lengths in the first furlong, then turned away all challenges to go on to win by two lengths.
The victory was the fourth career black-type win for the 4-year-old Tiznow colt, who has now amassed $289,950 in earnings for owner Tony Pennington. Tiznow has a pair of stakes winners this year and also the promising 3-year-old colt Tiznow R J, one of his 15 Triple Crown nominees.
Rebranded, bred in Kentucky by Mt. Brilliant Farm, sold for $350,000 at the 2013 Fasig-Tipton Florida 2-year-olds in Training sale. Out of Bayou Breeze, Rebranded hails from the same family as millionaires Lu Ravi and Meterologist.
